I would like to clear up the Taeyeon comment. Unfortunately, people believed an anti-Taeyeon youtube video in which it said Taeyeon said “Alicia Keys was pretty for a black girl”. If you actually listen to the video, Taeyeon says “heugeen chingoo jungmal numoo yebbeujoh” which literally translates to “black friend is really pretty”. She did not say Alicia Keys was “pretty for a black girl”, and it’s quite disappointing that no one actually checked the actual translation before accusing her of being racist.
